Art Post #4 The Final Post

Image
Hello again I am back to work with my Working Fidget spinner. I have cut out 2 identical pieces of cardboard in the shape of a fidget spinner. I have Painted it all black, then when it dried I used bright colors like pink and yellow to splatter paint it. My biggest problem I have had was doing the platter paint. For some reason I couldn't find out how to get the splatter paint effect, The paint brushes just weren't working. After I got some help I learned that if I just used my finger then flicked the paint on to Fidget spinner then I would look great. It was also really fun. Now I have actually finished the fidget spinner, and it looks really cool. All I have to do now is find a way to hang it up in the hall way and I can hopefully get a good grade. This is what it looks like right now.

This is now my third post and I have now painted my fidget spinner all black. I have also put it all together. My biggest problem I have had recently was probably taking my two pieces of cardboard and making them stay together. I was just using tape, and putting tape at the corners but, it started to peel. I had to use something more heavy duty. So I whipped out the hot glue gun and stuck them together. I have it painted, have the caps and everything I need to finish. All I need to to know is splatter paint all of it and hot glue the caps on.                                                      It is going to be really cool! Stick around and watch more to see what I do next.

This is my second blog post about my art project and this is how far I am now. I have cut it all out, have everything I need. I have even got the middle section with a fidget spinner in it so it will actually spin the whole thing, its looking good! My biggest problem I have had in a while was with my actual fidget spinner that goes in the center. It just stopped working, because a part in it got a little rusty, But for some reason when I just took it out it started to work again. but after I took it apart I got it to work again. This is what it looks like.                                        It is looking really cool and all I have to do is put my two big peices together, paint it and it will be done. I am really looking forward for what happens next.

I am cody schweikert and I have b 5/6 art with mr ritter and for my project I am making a 24 by 28 inch working fidget spinner, that I am going to splatter paint. I am going to make it work by putting my fidget spinner in between two pieces of cardboard so it will actually spin. This is what I started with  My biggest problem I have had so far was just trying to get the dimension right so the bearings are all lined up and it actually looks like a fidget spinner. then just cutting out. I finally figured it out after about 30 minutes after trial and error it somehow lined up perfectly and I could proceed to cut it out and pain it. This is what I am at now. The next thing I am going to do is cut out some more pieces to the fidget spinner has some thickness then finish painting and I am going to be done. I have been working really hard and it looks really good so far. When It is done I think it is going to be really sweet.
